By Nick Schultz, On3 Sports: Washington has released a statement after Tybo Rogers’ arrest on rape charges. He is facing second-degree rape and third-degree rape charges for two separate instances.
Rogers was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting two different females — one in October and one in November. The first alleged sexual assault was reported to police in late October. However, he continued to stay on the team and played in both of Washington’s College Football Playoff games. Rogers announced his plans to enter the transfer portal in January.
