By Carter Bahns, 247Sports: Michigan State is likely to embark on a coaching search in the coming months as the Spartans announced Monday that they have begun the process of firing Mel Tucker for cause.
The university suspended Tucker without pay last week pending the outcome of a Title IX investigation. Harlon Barnett is the Spartans’ interim coach while Tucker remains under scrutiny for allegations of sexual misconduct.
