By Jared Mack, 247Sports: Former Oregon defensive lineman and current Jacksonville Jaguars Arik Armstead was selected as the Walter Payton Man of the Year last night at the NFL Honors. Armstead, whose Armstead Academic Project supports early childhood education, becomes the second Jaguar in recent memory to win the award, joining Calais Campbell in 2019.
Armstead had been nominated four times before bringing home the hardware on Thursday.
