By Jack Crosby, CBS Sports: American Athletic Conference officials voted Tuesday night to add Army to the conference in the wake of SMU’s departure, sources confirmed to CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd.
The target is for the Black Knights to begin their tenure as an AAC member in 2024. Last month CBS Sports reported that the two sides had been engaged in “positive” talks. A formal announcement is expected to come from the conference on Wednesday,
