By Shehan Jeyarajah, CBS Sports: Washington running back Dillon Johnson is expected to play in the College Football Playoff National Championship against No. 1 Michigan, Huskies offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb said while appearing on 93.3 KJR FM Radio in Seattle.
Johnson aggravated an existing foot injury during the Huskies’ 37-31 victory over No. 3 Texas in the Sugar Bowl. Grubb says X-rays taken at the SuperDome returned negative for any structural damage.
