USC’s Lincoln Riley backs defense after SJSU win: ‘It’s going to be a climb’

A late coverage bust between Max Williams and Domani Jackson helped the Spartans hit on a 28-yard passing score eight seconds before halftime, tightening the margin at 21-14.
