By Kevin Borba, All Utes: While programs like USC and Colorado have looked to the portal seemingly more than recruiting to build their rosters, Utah is one of the few programs in the country that isn’t as reliant.
It’s not to say that they don’t use the transfer portal, but not to the extent that other programs in the Pac-12 do. The Utes brought in just eight transfers, which is just two more than a program like Stanford, which up until a few months ago, people around the country believed they couldn’t even use the portal.
