USCFootball.com: USC has hired Robert Stiner, assistant director of football strength and conditioning for Notre Dame, to head the Trojans football program’s strength and conditioning staff, per sources.
Though Stiner is not a household name, he was part of a strength staff in South Bend that has been credited as one of the key elements in the Irish’s successful rebuild after Brian Kelly’s 4-8 season in 2016. Over the course of four years, Notre Dame’s conditioning program has helped to elevate its team to a 42-6 record and its players have produced top results at the NFL Scouting Combine.
