According to a new report filed by The Oregonian on Thursday, emails and other documents obtained by the outlet indicated that the Pac-12 Conference, in 2018, signed a deal with The Los Angeles Times in which the Pac-12 agreed to throw six-figures in advertising money to the paper in exchange for an increased amount of Pac-12 coverage. Per the Oregonian, the Pac-12 also recently confirmed that it had a deal with The Times after long denying that it had any partnership with the paper.
