By Tom Fornelli, CBS Sports: I’m told by more and more people how meaningless bowl games have become each college football season. With the College Football Playoff field set to expand to 12 teams in 2024, this sentiment will only grow more prevalent — and I get it.
You can never be sure which teams will take it seriously, and many of the best players opt out of the games to prepare for the NFL Draft.
