Postponed season hasn’t changed Oregon’s football recruiting strategy

Ducks Territory: Following last week’s decision to postpone fall sports, Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott told media members that they’d pursue opportunities to extend eligibility of athletes who may lose a season of eligibility because of it.

This concept isn’t new. Earlier this year, softball seniors Haley Cruse and Samaria Diaz were granted a second senior season in 2021 after the coronavirus put their season on ice.
