Oregon’s Dan Lanning assesses himself as a head coach so far

By Daniel Morrison, On3 Sports: When Oregon lost head coach Mario Cristobal to Miami, the program had to find a new head coach for the fifth time since Mike Bellotti transitioned from head coach to athletic director in 2008.

The Ducks decided to go with Dan Lanning, an up-and-coming coach with no prior head coaching experience who had led the Georgia defense to one of the best seasons on that side of the ball in modern history.
