By Casey Lundquist, BYU Cougars on SI: Revenue sharing is coming to college football. Revenue sharing will impact the sport in a variety of ways, including roster size. Now that players are going to be paid, schools are taking a closer look at roster sizes. Rosters are expected to be trimmed from around 125 to 105. Upcoming roster restrictions could impact the walk-on program at BYU.
Future roster sizes have been rumored to be as low as 85-95, but based on recent reports, the roster is “expected to be around 105” according to Ross Dellenger.
