By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: NCAA officials are meeting this week to discuss potential major changes to college football’s recruiting calendar, including a proposal that would feature three signing periods, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
If approved, new signing periods would begin the final Wednesday in June, the Wednesday following college football’s regular-season finale and keeping the traditional first Wednesday in February date.
