247Sports: The cancelation of March Madness this year due to the coronavirus pandemic broke the hearts of countless fans across men’s and women’s basketball. And questions still remain about what college basketball will look like this coming season, as the Pac-12 has postponed all sporting events through the end of 2020. While college basketball certainly hasn’t been ruled out for later this year or early next, it’s time to start wondering now that the football season is in serious jeopardy.
With the ability to play more games per week, college basketball could be at an advantage compared to football. While a season-long bubble similar to what the NBA or NHL have done seemingly wouldn’t be feasible, some have suggested short-term options that could work to at least get some semblance of a season if necessary.
