BuffStampede: Colorado head coach Karl Dorrell was named the Pac-12 Coach of the Year by both the Associated Press and the league’s coaches in December. And this week, Dorrell has been named the Football Writers Association of America’s “First Year” Coach of the Year, an honor given to a head coach in his first season at a school.
The FWAA created the national award in 2002. Dorrell jumped on a Zoom call to accept the award and answer questions:
