By Tim Fitzgerald, GoPowercat/247Sports: The Big 12 has been patiently waiting while the Pac-12 has been attempting to sign a new media rights deal and after many months of indications it was coming with no results, the conference appears to have set a June 30 deadline for schools to ask to join the Big 12.
It also looks like Colorado and Arizona from the Pac-12, with San Diego State and UConn are the main targets for expansion, which would add three news states out West (to add with BYU in Utah), giving the conference four schools in the West, four in the East, four in the former Big Eight and four in the former SWC in the state of Texas.
