Duck Territory: Oregon’s quarterback signee in the 2021 recruiting class took home a major honor on Thursday night. Gilbert (Ariz.) Mesquite quarterback Ty Thompson was named as the All-American Bowl Offensive Player of the Year for the 2021 class.
It’s a major honor for the Oregon quarterback who was invited to the All-American Bowl this fall. Just three weeks ago, Thompson was presented with his All-American Bowl jersey and was honored to be invited to the prestigious roster. The all-star game was canceled for the 2021 year due to the pandemic but the players were still honored with their named being etched as the best high school players in their class.
