As a voter for the Pac-12 Players of the Week, my choices may occasionally differ from the official selections.
Either way, I want to share my picks and give brief explanations of why I voted the way I did for the Freshman and Player of the Week.
My Summaries appear below.
Player of the Week — Azuolas Tubelis, Arizona

Voting for Azuolas Tubelis was an easy decision.
The junior scored a career-high 40 points against Oregon and followed it up with 19 against Oregon State in just 23 minutes.
Averaging 29.5 points across the two games on 22-for-31 shooting, Tubelis should be a unanimous pick for the Player of the Week.
Freshman Player of the Week — Tre White, USC

In another clear-cut decision, my vote for USC’s Tre White wasn’t hard. The freshman averaged 18.0 points per game against the Washington schools on 16-for-25 shooting.
His 22 points against the Huskies was a career-high and he had a 5-to-1 turnover ratio over the two games.
I considered UCLA’s Amari Bailey, but the production White put up made the difference.
