COVID keeps Olympic Trials, NCAA championships up in the air

OregonLive: The Hayward Field makeover has been complete for more than seven months, a period in which the University of Oregon’s gleaming new track stadium has sat empty except as a practice facility for UO athletes.

Whether that changes in the coming months is about as clear as a foggy Willamette Valley evening.

Coronavirus keeps Olympic trials, NCAA championships up in the air at Hayward Field

The Eugene venue is scheduled to stage the NCAA Outdoor Championships on June 9-12 and the USA Track & Field Olympic Trials on June 18-27.
