By Brett McMurphy, Action Network: Officials with Circa Sports, a Las Vegas casino and resort, contacted UNLV last week, offering $100,000 to compensate what quarterback Matthew Sluka said he was allegedly promised from an assistant coach.
UNLV declined the offer as Sluka has been dismissed from the program. Circa Sports vice president of operations Mike Palm said they made the offer, wanting to “help keep UNLV’s playoff hopes alive.”
If Palm and Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens really want to help UNLV’s College Football Playoff hopes, do I have a proposition.
