By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: The Big Ten’s 2024 preseason media poll is out via Cleveland.com, and it should come as no surprise that Ohio State, equipped with one of college football’s elite rosters, is the overwhelming favorite to unseat Michigan as the league’s three-time defending champion.
Transfer portal additions and NIL relevance played a huge part in the bolstering of rosters across the Big Ten this offseason, especially for the Buckeyes, along with elite signing classes from those expected to be in the mix for a national championship. And the Big Ten, right now, has bragging rights over the SEC coming off Michigan’s unbeaten run to a national title.
