By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: One of the big questions the Pac-12 must ask itself is this: Would adding Big 12 schools increase the value of Pac-12 football media rights to the extent that the current 12-school membership would gain substantial revenues?
Yes, it’s good that the Pac-12 has 12 schools to share revenue, as opposed to 14 or 16. With 12 schools dividing the revenue pie, they get a larger cut of revenue than they would if the same revenue pie was divided 14 or 16 ways.
