By Noah Furtado, SunDevil Source: As Arizona State entered last year’s preseason camp in the throes of an ongoing NCAA investigation, a lot of things overshadowed its ultimately forgettable 2023 recruiting class, which at the time added its first defensive commit.
His name was Cullen “CJ” Fite, a 6-foot-1 and 295-pound defensive tackle who’d been passed over by most other Power 5 schools before he pledged to the Sun Devils over Oregon State and UTSA.
