Wildcat Authority: James Akinjo has been vital to the success of Arizona basketball this season in the sense that when he struggles, the Wildcats tend to struggle as well.
“James is our heart and soul,” Akinjo said. “He does a lot for our team. He utilizes a ton of energy on offense just because he pushes the ball so hard throughout the game. He uses a lot of ball screens, some of which lead to field goals by him or fouls or shots by his teammates.”
