“I’m incredibly sad about the breakup of the Pac-12,” California coach Mark Madsen said at Pac-12 Media Days. “In the back of my mind, there’s always the hope, 20 years from now, 15 years from now, things don’t work out with some of these other conferences and it gets put back together in some way.”
