The 2020 Redbox Bowl will not be played due to complications from COVID-19, Stadium’s Brett McMurphy reported Friday.
No date had been announced for the game. It was slated to be played in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury-News reports that the 49ers had also ended their agreement to host the game, putting it in additional jeopardy.
