Stanford's Quarterback Room: Who's behind Davis Warren heading into 2026

By Dylan Grausz, Stanford Roundtable: With training camp set to open next week, the Stanford Cardinal will take the field and officially begin preparing for a tough 2026 campaign. Stanford finished 4-8 last season and has not made a bowl game since 2018, so there is plenty of urgency to win heading into the 2026 season.

This year’s success is very much contingent on quarterback play, a position that has held the Cardinal back in recent seasons.

Dealing with inconsistent play and health issues in recent years, the Cardinal revamped their quarterback room this offseason, snagging Davis Warren from the transfer portal and bringing in freshman Mike Mitchell Jr.
