By Adam Thompson, Bookies.com: After 18 years as a head coach in the NFL, the last 14 with the Seattle Seahawks, it appears Pete Carroll has mangled his last piece of gum on the sidelines.
Carroll, it has been reported, will step away from coaching the Seahawks but remain with the team in another role. Carroll, 71, has 170 wins and a Super Bowl championship to a Hall of Fame resume.
