This is the 10th in my series of interviews with selected 2023 SuperWest nonconference football opponents.
In this episode, I talk with Stefan Krajisnik, Mississippi State beat writer for the Clarion Ledger, about Arizona’s game this week against the Bulldogs of the SEC.
We discuss MSU’s roster, preview the Wildcats-Bulldogs game, give our predictions, and touch on the culture of Mississippi high school football.
The teams are coming off dramatically different seasons, with Arizona going 5-7 in 2022, and Mississippi State going 9-4 with a win in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
They face off on September 9 at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, LA, at 4:30 p.m. PT on the SEC Network.
The Wildcats and Bulldogs have played just once before, with Mississippi State winning 39-17 last year in Tucson.
