This is the ninth in my series of interviews with selected 2023 SuperWest nonconference football opponents.
In this episode, I talk with Melissa Triebwasser, TCU podcaster for Frogs Insider, about Colorado’s season-opening tilt against the Horned Frogs of the Big 12.
We discuss TCU’s roster, preview the Buffs-Horned Frogs game, give our predictions, and touch on the hiring of new OC Kendal Briles.
The teams are coming off dramatically different seasons, with Colorado going 1-11 in 2022, and TCU going 13-2 and playing in the CFP National Championship Game.
They face off on September 2 at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff game, featuring the much-hyped debut of Deion Sanders as Colorado’s new head coach.
The Horned Frogs and Buffaloes have met just once before, with TCU winning 38-13 last year in Boulder.
