By Kevin Borba, Athlon Sports: The art of tanking has become a norm in both the NBA and NFL as teams who typically don’t have a chance of winning or even competing for a playoff spot will essentially go out of their way to not be competitive.
While they aren’t throwing the games, they also aren’t proactively trying to be better and losing helps them position themselves to end up with a better draft pick.
