Each week I’ll give you my college football Top 25, with commentary on the Pac-12 teams I rank. Disagree? Let me know on Twitter @jackfollman.

1. Alabama (8-0)

2. Notre Dame (9-0)

3. Ohio State (4-0)

4. Clemson (8-1)

5. Texas A&M (6-1)

6. Florida (7-1)

7. Indiana (5-1)

8. Miami (7-1)

9. Cincinnati (8-0)

10. Georgia (6-2)

11. USC (3-0)

usc logoThe Trojans have had their struggles, but their 16-point win at Utah looks nice right now, and they haven’t taken a loss yet the way Oregon did. Having only three games under their belt holds them back right now, but if they can close convincingly down the stretch, they’re probably the closest thing to a long shot CFP candidate for the Pac-12.

12. Washington (3-0)

I almost put the Huskies ahead of USC—the Huskies blew out Arizona who almost beat USC—but the Trojans convincingly beat the Utah team that almost beat Washington. I’ll call them even for now. Having Washington so low, including being below Oregon, is pretty ridiculous. They’ve shown quite a bit in their first three games, and I believe have an unlikely, but realistic way to clinch the North if they can beat Stanford Saturday.

13. Oregon (3-1)

The Ducks have played with fire all season and finally got burned by their scrappy rival. Their offense looks like it can put up 40 plus on any team in the Pac-12 any time, but their defense looks like they can give up the same as well, so they have to outscore everyone, which isn’t a recipe for success. Still, as long as the Ducks don’t get upset by a struggling Cal team, a Pac-12 title is probably still in their control.

14. BYU  (9-0)

15. Iowa State (7-2)

16. Oklahoma (6-2)

17. Northwestern (5-1)

18. Wisconsin (2-1)

19. Oklahoma St (6-2)

20. Iowa (4-2)

21. Colorado (3-0)

The Buffs are lingering undefeated and they next get a winless Arizona team. The Buffs just need to keep winning games they should, and we’ll see how things play out given their game with USC got cancelled. I honestly don’t know what is going to happen.

22. Marshall (7-0)

23. Auburn (5-3)

24. Coastal Carolina (9-0)

25. Texas (5-3)
