First-Team Offense

QB Caleb Williams, Sophomore, USC — Williams edges out the rest of the field, which might be the best and deepest in Pac-12 history. Just such a flawless playmaker who turned USC completely around. His numbers are Heisman-level.

RB Zach Charbonnet, Senior, UCLA — No question,  he’s been the best running back in the Conference all year: 1,300 plus yards and 14 touchdowns.

RB Xazavian Valladay, Senior, Arizona State — Nearly 1,500 total yards and 18 total TDs. The only back that might give Charbonnet a run for his money.

WR Jalen McMillan, Sophomore, Washington — He exploded this year with 70 plus catches, 1,000 plus yards, and eight TDs. Money for the Huskies over and over again.

WR Rome Odunze, Sophomore, Washington — His stats are almost identical to McMillan’s except he ran for a TD. Just an unstoppable target for the Huskies when they needed him.

TE Dalton Kincaid, Senior, Utah — He just put together one of the best tight end seasons in Pac-12 history: 66 catches, 850 yards and eight touchdowns.

OL T.J. Bass, Senior, Oregon — An Offensive Lineman of the Week mainstay. The best player on a super-good Duck offensive line that barely gave up sacks and ran for a lot of yards and TDs.

OL Andrew Vorhees, Senior, USC — He came back for another year and had a pretty perfect season. Also an Offensive Lineman of the Week regular.

OL Brett Neilon, Senior, USC — Put him right up there with Voorhees. The best center in the Conference in a good year for them.

OL Braeden Daniels, Junior, Utah — He stepped up as the best lineman on the Utes this season. One of the best linemen in the conference week after week.

OL Troy Fautanu, Sophomore, Washington — One of the reasons the Huskies went from four to 10 wins is the ascension of their offensive line, led by the young left tackle, Fautanu, who was great at pass and run blocking.

First-Team Defense

DL Tuli Tuipulotu, Sophomore, USC — Easily the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. He had a dominating season this year, winning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week almost every week.

DL Brandon Dorlus, Junior, Oregon — Quietly one of the best players at any position in the Conference again. He just always seemed to be the guy making the big play for the Ducks up front in key situations.

DL Laiatu Latu, Junior, UCLA — Came back huge after two years off for injury, finishing with 9.5 sacks as maybe the best pure pass rusher in the Pac-12.

DL Jeremiah Martin, Senior, Washington — He really put it all together this season with 8.5 sacks and 40 tackles as Washington’s best player on defense.

LB Darius Muasau, Senior, UCLA — The Hawaii transfer was everything for the Bruin defense—77 tackles, a sack, and two interceptions don’t even truly show how much of an impact he made.

LB Daiyan Henley, Senior, Washington State – The Nevada transfer probably was the Pac-12’s best linebacker. He finished with more than 100 tackles, four sacks, and an interception.

LB Kerene Reid, Sophomore, Utah — He stepped up big replacing big-time linebackers at Utah, finishing with more than 60 tackles, four sacks, and an interception.

DB Clark Phillips III, Sophomore, Utah — My co-Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. He had six interceptions and one of the best cornerback seasons you will ever see in the Pac-12.

DB Christian Gonzalez, Sophomore, Oregon — The Colorado transfer turned into a star in Eugene. He had four interceptions as a big, ridiculous athlete.

DB Jaydon Grant, Senior, Oregon State — The Beavers’ pass defense was lights out. A big-time veteran like Grant was a huge part of that, making plays all over the secondary.

DB Kitan Oladapo, Junior, Oregon State — He won Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week twice and really stepped up this season.

First-Team Special Teams

K Joshua Karty, Junior, Stanford — Perfect on field goals, including a huge one to beat Notre Dame.

P Eddie Czaplicki, Sophomore, Arizona State — Led the Conference in punting average this season.

R Anthony Gould, Sophomore, Oregon State — Logged 260 yards in punt returns with two TDs.

Second- Team Offense

QB Michael Penix Jr., Junior, Washington — Again, such a tough call here in the stack of great Pac-12 quarterbacks. Giving Penix the edge for his big-time performances in big games down the stretch.

RB Travis Dye, Senior, USC — He sadly missed the last couple of games for USC, yet the veteran still put up numbers that were third-best for a running back in the Conference, capping off an outstanding career.

RB Damien Martinez, Freshman, Oregon State — The freshman burst out as the next great Beaver running back. Almost 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns in his first season.

WR Jordan Addison, Junior, USC — Addison lived up to his billing when he arrived at USC. He was huge for the Trojans all season and ended with nearly 1,000 yards receiving.

WR Jacob Cowing, Junior, Arizona — The UTEP transfer was unstoppable as a Wildcat. He had 85 receptions and finished with more than 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns.

TE Jalin Conyers, Sophomore, Arizona State — Really emerged this year as a top tight end—400 plus yards and five touchdowns.

OL Joshua Gray, Sophomore, Oregon State — Just another All-Pac-12 season for the multi-year starter. He’s the best player on an outstanding Beaver OL yet again.

OL Alex Forsyth, Senior, Oregon — Ultra veteran who struggled with injuries this year and powered the middle of Oregon’s stellar OLine most of the year.

OL Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, Senior, Oregon — He really stepped up in his final year as a Duck and was one of the best linemen in the Conference all season.

OL Jonah Monheim, Sophomore, USC — He emerged as a stud on USC’s line this year. He was a regular in Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week nominations.

OL Henry Bainivalu, Senior, Washington — An incredible turnaround for Bainivalu who many thought would retire medically after 2021 and instead was one of the Pac-12’s best guards.

Second-Team Defense

DL Bralen Trice, Sophomore, Washington — One of the Conference’s most dangerous pass rushers, he finished the season with eight sacks and countless pressures.

DL Brennan Jackson, Junior, Washington State — With 39 tackles and five sacks, he was a monster on the edge for the Cougars all season yet again. He always seemed to be in opponents’ backfields.

DL James Rawls, Junior, Oregon State — He burst onto the scene this year as the best player up front for Oregon State’s tough defense. A mainstay in Defensive Lineman of the Week nominations.

DL Gabe Reid, Senior, Utah — The Stanford transfer stepped right in and upheld the elite level of defensive line play expected at Utah. One of the Conference’s best, week after week.

LB Kyle Soelle, Senior, Arizona State — The Pac-12’s leading tackler and a reliable force. He also picked off two passes.

LB Shane Lee, Senior, USC — USC’s leading tackler and Alabama transfer made a huge impact for the Trojans. He finished with a ton of tackles and some sacks and ints.

LB Omar Speights, Junior, Oregon State — Just another rock-solid season for the Beaver defender, who finished with 77 tackles.

DB Rezjohn Wright, Senior, Oregon State — A veteran stud in Oregon State’s nasty secondary. Nine pass breakups and two interceptions in 2022.

DB Stephan Blaylock, Senior, UCLA — He closed out his Bruin career exceptionally well with more than 50 tackles, 2 sacks, and an int.

DB Mekhi Blackmon, Senior, USC — The Colorado transfer was a huge addition to the Trojans. He finished with 11 pass breakups and three ints.

DB Daniel Scott, Senior, Cal — Quietly had another excellent season as a Bear—85 tackles, four pass breakups, and three ints.

Second-Team Special Teams

K Camden Lewis, Junior, Oregon — Missed just one field goal all season.

P Kyle Ostendorp, Junior, Arizona — Second-best punting average in the Conference.

R Jordyn Tyson, Freshman, Colorado — One of just two returners to return a kick or punt for a touchdown this season.
