It was another good week for several former SuperWest players.

Each week I highlight the Top 10 performances of West Coast school alums in our coverage footprint.

Here are my choices for Week Nine.

Top 10 NFL Performers

1. Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers/Oregon

The former Duck threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions for a 125.8 rating in the team’s 27-10 win over Cleveland.

Herbert has 29 career games with at least two touchdown passes and a passer rating of 100 or higher.

This ties him with Deshaun Watson for the second-most such games by a player in his first five seasons in NFL history. Only Patrick Mahomes (35 games) has more.

2. Jared Goff, QB, Lions/Cal

Continuing to look like an MVP candidate, Jared Goff completed 18 of 22 passes and had a TD in the win over Green Bay.

He has an 82.8 completion percentage (106 of 128) in his past six games, surpassing Peyton Manning for the highest completion percentage (minimum 100 attempts) in a six-game span within a season in NFL history.

3. Jahlani Tavai, OLB, Patriots/Hawai’i

Tavai had a season-high 11 tackles in the Patriots’ OT loss to the Titans.

The former Rainbow Warrior added a tackle for loss and also collected his first interception of the season.

4. Logan Wilson, LB, Bengals/Wyoming

Wilson led the Bengals with nine tackles in their win over the Raiders.

The former Cowboy had a nose for the football as well, recovering not one but two fumbles as Cincy dominated.

5. Bo Nix, QB, Broncos/Oregon

Denver struggled against the Ravens but Nix did a little bit of everything.

The former Duck threw for 223 yards, ran for 36, and caught a TD pass.

Nix is the third rookie starting quarterback to record a touchdown reception since 1960.

6. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Jets/Cal

Rogers had a very good second half on Thursday night after a sluggish start.

The former Bear threw for 211 yards and three touchdowns as the Jets knocked off the Texans.

7. Davante Adams, WR, Jets/Fresno State

Adams had a productive night for New York in the Thursday win.

The former Bulldog had his best performance to date with his new team, catching seven passes for 91 yards and a TD.

8. Vita Vea, DT, Buccaneers/Washington

The former Husky stepped up for Tampa Bay on Monday Night.

Vea finished the game with nine tackles and a pair of sacks as the Bucs fell to Kansas City in overtime.

9. Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Lions/USC

St. Brown caught seven passes for 56 yards and a TD.

The former Trojan now has 363 receptions for 4,052 yards and 27 touchdowns in his career and became the fourth player in NFL history with at least 350 receptions, 4,000 receiving yards and 25 touchdown receptions in his first four seasons.

10. Quentin Lake, DB, Rams/UCLA

The Rams got an overtime win in Seattle and the former Bruin was a menace all day.

He finished the game with eight tackles along with a sack and QB pressure.
