CougFan: Washington State scratched and clawed all game long against USC but a horrendous shooting night from 3-point land led to a 76-65 loss Saturday in Pullman. After a game that was closer than the final score, Kyle Smith said this one will sting a bit for the young Cougs: “We’ll be down after this game,” said Smith, who also noted there’s no time to dwell on it, with a short turnaround and the Huskies coming to town Monday.
