Disney pulls ABC, ESPN channels from YouTube TV after contract dispute

By Melina Khan and Greta Cross, USA TODAY: Disney has suspended its content on YouTube TV — pulling channels like ESPN and ABC from the platform — after the companies failed to reach a new contractual agreement.

“Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV,” YouTube TV said in a social media statement late on Oct. 30.
