By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: Demond Williams Jr. had the best game of his young career in a win that didn’t look pretty at first, but saw the Huskies use another strong second half to cruise to a 38-19 victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and close the first half of the season with a 5-1 record.
The sophomore tallied 402 passing yards and 136 rushing yards, becoming the 16th FBS quarterback in college football history to post a 400/100 game, and added 4 total touchdowns, 2 passing and 2 rushing.
