By Ryan McDonald, Deseret News: When the Utah football program announced on March 31 that 6,500 fans would be allowed in Rice-Eccles Stadium for the team’s spring game on April 17, it said that all money raised from ticket sales would go to the Ty Jordan Scholarship Fund, which was set up after the former Ute running back died last December.
Additionally, the program said that tickets purchased in groups of four would cost $22, the number Jordan wore as a freshman last season as he rushed for 597 yards in five games.
