By Connor Morrissette, USCFootball.com: USC men’s basketball suffered a brutal blow Wednesday. Five-star freshman phenom Alijah Arenas suffered a torn meniscus and will miss six to eight months due to the injury.
Arenas had just been cleared to fully practice following a serious car accident in April that put him in a coma. He’s now likely to miss the entire season.
Losing Arenas is a significant setback. As a five-star freshman with an NBA future, Arenas was projected to be a key player for the Trojans this winter.
