By Thomas Goldkamp, On3 Sports: USC has added a kicker signing from the NCAA transfer portal. UNLV‘s Caden Chittenden has signed with the Trojans, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Chittenden went 24-for-30 on field goal attempts during the 2024 season, with a long of 52 yards. He also handled kickoff duties, booting it 83 times for an average of 63.6 yards per attempt. He had 56 touchbacks.
A freshman, Chittenden was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-Mountain West selection. He should instantly help bolster USC’s kicking game.
