Steelers cut former OSU star CB after he tweets, ‘Don’t hold me hostage’

By Geoffrey C. Arnold, OregonLive: Steven Nelson tweeted a message to the Pittsburgh Steelers: “Don’t me hostage.” The cornerback got his wish.

The Steelers cut him by terminating his contract less than one hour after he posted his tweet.

The team terminated the contract of the cornerback Tuesday morning.
