By Kevin Borba, All Cardinal: After losing nearly their entire rotation to graduation or the transfer portal, the Stanford Cardinal are starting to gain some traction in both recruiting and the transfer portal.
Since new head coach Kyle Smith was hired he has flipped the No. 2 player in the state of Washington away from his former employer, has Stanford in the mix to flip Illinois signee and top-100 player Jase Butler, has Stanford as a finalists for Penn transfer Clark Slajchert, and on Monday flipped another Washington State commit.
