By Jackson Moore, Cardinal 247: More than two months after National Signing Day, Stanford has added another incoming freshman to its 2021 football recruiting class. Birmingham (Alabama) Oak Mountain High School defensive end Jacob Katona announced his commitment to the Cardinal earlier this week.
In February, Katona announced a Top 3 of Stanford, Duke and Vanderbilt. Katona held preferred walk-on opportunities to all three Power-5 schools. He also had scholarship offers from Cornell, Samford, the University of Chicago, Washington (St. Louis), Wesleyan and more.
