By Dan Lyons, Athlon Sports: Nick Saban and Urban Meyer are the two greatest college football coaches of their generation. With the announcement of the ballot for the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class, the two are in line to share the stage as inductees next year.
Saban will likely be inducted just months after his January retirement from Alabama. He took over the Crimson Tide in 2007, leading the program to the first of six national titles in his tenure just two years later, during the ’09 season. Before leading the Tigers and Crimson Tide, he served as the head coach at Toledo in 1990 and Michigan State from 1995-99.
