By Dylan Grausz, Stanford Roundtable: In just a few short weeks, Stanford football will take the field for training camp, officially beginning preparations for the 2026 season. Coming off a 4-8 season and their fifth straight losing campaign, Stanford faces increasing urgency to win on The Farm.
But after bringing in a new coaching staff and revamping the roster, the Cardinal enter the season with lowered expectations, once again projected to finish among the bottom half of the ACC.
Tavita Pritchard is taking over as head coach, returning to The Farm after several seasons as an NFL assistant, and he’s eager to show his program can win now.
