Utah State's Craig Smith hired as Utes head basketball coach

By Madisan Hinkhouse, KSL Sports: Craig Smith will be the next University of Utah Utes basketball coach, according to multiple reports.

An official announcement is expected soon.

KSL Sports reported yesterday that after Johnnie Bryant pulled his name from consideration Craig Smith became Utah’s top target.

University of Utah Director of Athletics Mark Harlan announced that Craig Smith will be the next head basketball coach.
