247Sports: With reports that the Big Ten is closing in on a decision to cancel its 2020 college football season, players and coaches within the conference are trying to get schools to reconsider. One of the coaches standing with his players is James Franklin.
Although there have been conflicting reports about the Big Ten voting to cancel the 2020 season, the players and coaching staffs within the league have clearly felt a rising sense of urgency. A number of Penn State joined in on the We Want To Play movement on Sunday night, and their head coach backed them up on Monday afternoon.
