By Jackson Moore, Bark Board: The Fresno State Bulldogs have scored a commitment from a local prospect. Six-foot-three wide receiver AJ Williams committed to the hometown team on Thursday.
Williams was recruited out of Hanford High School, but recently announced he will be transferring to Clovis West for his senior year. Now he’ll be even closer to his new collegiate home.
“Getting a chance to be a Bulldog is special,” Williams said. “I grew up out here. Fresno State is the only team in the Valley. There ain’t no type of NBA teams or NFL teams out here. It’s strictly Fresno State.”
