HEIGHT: 6-4
WEIGHT: 245
CLASS: Redshirt Senior
HOME TOWN: Spring, Tex.
HIGH SCHOOL: Klein Collins H.S.

Cameron Goode returns to Cal as a “super senior,” compliments of an NCAA ruling that gives all players enrolled during the shortened pandemic season a do-over, and Cal is a primary beneficiary.

It hasn’t been an easy road, but the prize is finally in sight for Goode as a Golden Bear.

The Texas native redshirted as a freshman in 2016 and started the first nine games of 2017, logging 46 tackles and a pick-six vs. Ole Miss before an injury ended his season.

His 2018 season was similarly marred by injury after returning an interception for a touchdown against North Carolina in the season-opener.

The 2019 season proved different, with Goode staying healthy and recording 59 tackles. He added 19 more in 2020, bring his career total to 127 so far.

Goode’s return, and that of several other seniors, puts the Bears in position to contend for the Pac-12 North, and gives him the chance to make a mark in the Cal record book for both tackles for loss and sacks.

With just 10 tackles in 2021, the talented linebacker would pass Mawukoh Tugbenyoh for 10th on the career TFLs list, and with six more sacks, he would pass Natu Tuatagola and Sekou Sanyika on the all time sacks list.
